Višey is a small island off the coast of Reykjavik; a five minute ferry trip and you're there. It still succeeds in getting you away from the "city", even though it's basically just a couple of smallish hills and vegetation made of dry sticks. It's a nice walk to follow the encircling trail, and enjoy the amazing view.

Just a "summer residence" for the various kings and dudes in charge of Bavaria. Of course I immediately had to think of the movie
Kamikaze girls due to its top heavy Rococo style; I normally don't like anything that comes with too much embellishments, however in this setting it worked beautifully. I guess it works when done properly, and not at all in kitschy knockoffs?

München, fantastic weather and a much more charming city center than I expected. If you just wander a bit aimlessly, you always get rewarded with at least a nice little facade, fountain or other sight.
